Matt commenced work with Commins Hendriks in 2008 as part of the Law Clerk program which offers the opportunity to work with Commins Hendriks whilst studying law by distance through the Legal Profession Admission Board (LPAB). He graduated and was admitted to practice as a Solicitor in NSW in August 2013.
Matt spent his first 18 months with Commins Hendriks working in our Litigation Department, particularly focusing in workers compensation matters and commercial debt recovery, before moving out to our Coolamon office where he deals with wide range of matters, including rural and residential conveyancing, wills and estates, succession planning and other commercial transactions.
Matt has a down-to-earth attitude, stepping his clients through the complexities of the law with a practical, ‘plain English’ approach. He enjoys the challenges posed by legal practice, and being able to assist people through the issues impacting on their lives at any given time.
Outside of the office, Matt enjoys living and working in his local community and is an active advocate for young people in the wider community, particularly in the areas of education and mental health. Matt is currently on the Board of Directors of The Riverina Anglican College, and is a committee member of Rural Outreach Counselling Inc.
