Compensation as a consequence of criminal activity

If you have been injured as a result of criminal activity you may be entitled to compensation.
This compensation is usually paid under the Victims Compensation Scheme but may also be claimed against the perpetrator, for example:

Injury from an assault

• Injury from a home invasion including psychological injury
• Psychological injury as a result of an act of violence
• Injury caused whilst the offense is being committed
• Psychological injury of family members
